Unfortunately, we’ve had to make the very hard decision to suspend all orders from/to Ireland (Republic) with immediate effect. Existing orders will be honoured.
Despite all our orders having the correct paperwork when they leave us, AnPost are rejecting more than 50% of packages and sending them back with “Failed Customs” stickers. We’ve tested the system by resending the exact same packages back again with the same paperwork and they get through, however this is increasing our postage and administration costs by 100% as Royal Mail refuse to refund the failed deliveries as it’s through no fault of theirs.
On searching multiple articles online (Examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) it seems this issue is affecting ALOT of sellers and has been going on for over a year now, with hundreds of sellers now banning orders from Ireland. As all our deliveries to other EU countries are unaffected this leads us to believe it is a problem with AnPost, despite their denials. Until AnPost fix their systems and process packages correctly we are unable to accept any further orders from Ireland. Orders from/to France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden are unaffected.
We’ll update this page as soon as the situation improves. We apologies for the inconvenience.
