35mm Slides to CD or DVD
35mm film is 35mm wide and will have perforations on both edges at each 4.23 mm along it. They are then spliced and placed into slides for viewing as seen in the example here.
Although the most common format we see is standard 35mm, we also transfer 35mm Half Frame, 110, 126, 127, Medium Format, and 35mm Negative Strips.
To get the best-quality images from your 35mm slides, we copy, convert, and transfer using the latest high-resolution capture equipment at an approximate resolution of 6,000 × 4,000 pixels (before cropping). We then retouch the images, performing basic colour correction free of charge.
More advanced colour correction and slide cleaning is available for 10p per slide. Finally, we deliver the photos as a slideshow on a DVD (including the original photos for you to print from) or on a CD which you can put in your computer or take to a branch of Boots to print on one of its photo machines.
We now offer slide printing using a studio-grade photo printer. We can reproduce any quantities of slides from 6 x 4 up to A3+ from as little as £0.35 per print.

First introduced into photography in 1913 and still very popular among several professional photographers now.
Direct descendants of the larger-format magic lantern, 35mm slide projectors first came into widespread use during the 1950s as a form of occasional home entertainment. Family members and friends would gather to view slide shows, which typically consisted of slides photographed during holidays and at family events.
Slide projectors were also widely used in educational and other institutional settings.
