MicroMV Tape to DVD, Blu-ray, or USB
Although MicroMV tapes look like miniaturised versions of the DV tape, each MicroMV tape only holds 60 minutes of footage and in a different, MPEG2 compression format. The MicroMV tapes are approximately 70% smaller than DV tapes.
We can repair most MicroMV tapes FREE of charge.
Prices start at just £11.99 per tape and reduce depending on the quantity you have. Scroll down for full price details, and to generate an instant quotation.
We convert NTSC MicroMV tapes at no extra cost. Also, if your MicroMV tape is under 5 minutes in length, then we only charge £5.99 for the conversion!

The MicroMV tape format was launched in 2001 by Sony. MicroMV tapes use Sony’s own 12Mbit/s MPEG-2 compression, similar to that used on DVDs. Initially, the MicroMV footage could not be directly edited with mainstream editing software. Instead, Sony supplied its own video editing software.
MicroMV was not a successful format. Sony was the only electronics manufacturer to sell MicroMV cameras. In 2006, just 5 years after launching the MicroMV format, Sony stopped offering new MicroMV camcorder models.
