MovieStuff Retroscan Universal MK1 2K frame by frame film scanner including 8mm, 9.5mm and 16mm film gates. Purchased in 2018 direct from MovieStuff in the U.S.A.

• 2K camera (actually just under 3K with a resolution of 2048 x 1536, just 84 horizontal lines short of 3K’s 1620)

• 3 interchangeable gates (8mm/Super8, 9.5mm, and 16mm)
• Latest model produced including modified LED and fan in base of unit to prevent overheating.
• Purpose built PC included to perform scans

New UV LEDs were fitted to the 9.5mm gate around 12 months ago – I have included a spare set of 4 LED sensors and 4 UV LEDs so you have spares if needed, although in 4 years we only had a single LED fail. Also included is a spare 2K camera that requires the USB plug re-soldering to the board, but otherwise works fine.

The price includes a dedicated PC (excluding monitor). If not needed, the price reduces by £300.00.
